General

Children in Classes

All children under 16 are the sole responsibility of the adult who books the course and must remain on site to supervise throughout the session. Under no circumstances should children under 10 years of age be responsible for any dog whilst on the premises, although they are welcome to train alongside a parent or guardian at your own risk.

Photographs and Recordings

Photographs and/or recordings may be taken by First Place Dog Training during training classes or one to one sessions for educational and promotional purposes. No other photographs and/or recordings may be taken without prior permission from First Place Dog Training.

Health and Safety

First Place Dog Training accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, loss, damage or accident to you, your dog, spectator, other persons or property.

Vaccinations

First Place Dog Training recommend that all dogs and puppies are fully vaccinated or titre tested, as recommended by your veterinary surgeon. However, if you chose to bring your dog to classes unvaccinated, this is entirely at your own risk and you will be fully responsible for any issues arising as a result of non-vaccination.

We reserve the right to change the timing, date or venue of Group Classes or 121 Training Sessions in order to provide a high-quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions that render in-person group classes impractical or unsafe, First Place Dog Training reserves the right to modify the mode of instruction to ensure the continuity of the course.

If in-person sessions are affected by bad or extreme weather, First Place Dog Training may, at its discretion, conduct the sessions via Zoom video call or an alternative online platform. This decision will be made with the safety and well-being of participants in mind.

Participants will be notified as promptly as possible regarding any changes in the mode of instruction. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they have the necessary equipment and internet connection to participate in virtual sessions.

First Place Dog Training is committed to delivering the course content and maintaining the scheduled timeline despite unforeseen challenges. By enrolling in our courses, participants acknowledge and agree to adapt to such changes as needed.
